Threading is an Ancient Method and alternative hair removal to Wax or Tweezers.
It is popular in Indian and Persian Culture and is becoming a fast moving craze in Western Society also.
Threading the entire face is widely spread amongst Iranians, but was originally practiced when a woman was getting married or during special occasions.
It is done by the use of a pure, thin, twisted cotton thread which is rolled over untidy hairlines, Moustaches and so on, plucking the hair at the follicle. Unlike Tweezing where a single hair is pulled out each time, threading can be VERY painful.
For me this was the most INSSSSAAAAANE feeling. I couldn't quite understand how it worked. It felt like a very strong tickle and hurt like hell. My eyes watered unnecessarily and i looked like a panda within seconds..
Though as soon as it was over i realised it was very accurate unlike waxing, and worth all the pain.
